Protect your Family's Summer Fun with Insurance for your RV or Holiday Trailer!

It is officially camping season in Atlantic Canada! Get out those Camper Trailers and RVs, and pack up the family - but before you hit the road, make sure you have the right insurance protection...

Enjoy and protect your family's investment.  A Holiday Trailer insurance policy will offer coverage for perils such as fire, theft, falling trees, motor vehicle accidents, and more...!

Coverage for Your Holiday Trailer
Insurance options for a holiday trailer will vary based on the unit's age, as well as your preference. Newer units often qualify for replacement coverage, and models older than 10 years are typically settled for Actual Cash Value which includes depreciation. A holiday trailer can usually be added to your home or tenant's insurance policy, but separate policies are also available.  A comprehensive policy will cover fire, theft, overturn or collision, and impacts from falling objects (trees..) etc...

Personal Property
Insurance for Holiday Trailers is similar to a home policy in the way that coverage is extended for contents in the unit. The cost of replacing pots, pans, clothing, blankets and board games can add up in the event of a loss, and they are covered under your Personal Property limit on your Holiday Trailer or RV policy.

Detached Private Structures
Are you at a site where you've installed a deck, or a garden shed? Many policies offer coverage for these types of campsite additions.

Golf Cart coverage
Do you zip around the campground in a Golf Cart? Some policies offer insurance for Golf Carts for both the physical damage and liability exposure.

Optional Roadside Assistance
Roadside Assistance can often be added to your policy to provide a tow, a battery boost, roadside repair, and more...

Whether you're off to Kejimkujik , The Ovens Natural Park, or Parlee Beach, we hope you have a FUN and SAFE camping season!

Insurance is not tangible - you can’t hold it, see it, or feel it. For this reason, it may be tempting to reduce coverage in order to save some money; but, insurance can be invaluable – especially if you’re on a fixed budget.

Backyard pools can be summer fun entertainment for the whole family – but they also come with very serious risk. An accident only takes a second, and often involves young children who gain access to a pool without a self-closing and self-latching gate. If you own a pool, we urge you to take the time to install safety measures.
